I’ve been covering the culinary beat in Colorado Springs since 1996 and let me tell you there has been a world of change – in a good way. A very good way.
There are more dining options. Loads more diversity in cuisines from which to select. Much more talent in kitchens. Food events to enjoy almost weekly. This is what makes my job so easy. There is so much to report. As a matter of fact it’s hard to get all the great information in the printed version. That’s why this blog is going to be a great resource for readers who want to get the latest greatest news about food.
Many of you have followed my On Food Column that now appears every other Wednesday. That’s where you can find out about new kitchen equipment, ingredients, cooking classes or read about my culinary explorations here and there. Now you can find more of those sorts of thing at this site.
On Fridays in GO! you have been reading about news in the restaurant world in Table Talk. Often good deals or special events pop up that can not make the printed page between deadlines. Now there’s a spot right here to let you know about those neat things.
I hope you enjoy the blog and that you’ll let me know what you think. If you have tips related to food please let me know. Or, if you have a foodie question I’d like to help there too.
