People with insurance questions related to the Black Forest Fire will have a chance Thursday to get some helpful advice.

United Policyholders, a non-profit consumer group, will host a workshop Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Woodmen Heights Campus of Woodmen Valley Chapel, 8292 Woodmen Valley View near Woodmen and Marksheffel roads.

Those seeking advice will be able to sign up for 10-minute time slots to consult with “UP workshop speakers and other local resource experts,” El Paso County officials said.

Among those available will be United Policyholders representatives, Care and Share, AspenPointe, El Paso County Commissioners and public services staff, and volunteers who have survived past disasters.
