I sat in disbelief Friday watching ABC News’ 20/20 as it reported a “Nasty Neighbors” episode.
In it, a man in Port Angeles, Wash., climbed on a bulldozer and began calmly destroying the homes and cars of his neighbors.
According to ABC News, the bulldozer driver, Barry Swegle, was angry at neighbors who built a fence to prevent him from driving his heavy equipment across their yard.
So in May, he fired up his 90,000-pound dozer and began wrecking everything in sight.
Here’s a video news report of the rampage.
According to the Peninsula Daily News, Swegle, 51, has been charged with nine felonies in the incident, allegedly boarded his bulldozer and damaged or destroyed four homes, a pickup truck, a power pole, a boat, a tractor and several outbuildings over a fence dispute with his neighbor Dan Davis.
Swegle remains held in the Clallam County jail on $1 million bail.
