He joined the organization after being traded by the Mets for Rockies outfielder Eric Young Jr. … Friday was Aces righty Diogenes Rosario’s Triple-A debut. He started the season with the Visalia Rawhide of the Class-A Advanced California League. … Righty Mark Serrano was transferred from Class AA Mobile and scheduled to take on recent Rockies starter Juan Nicasio after starter Zeke Spruill went on the 7-day disabled list.

    Famous San Diego ChickenThe recent rains allowed the Colorado Springs Fire Department to permit commercial fireworks displays in the city limits, opening the door for the Sky Sox’s Independence Weekend Fireworks Shows July 4-6.

    In addition, The Famous San Diego Chicken will lead the in-game entertainment Thursday and Friday. The Chicken will stay after each game to sign an autograph for everyone in attendance.
