t551_main_logoStarting pitcher Jeff Manship, who was scheduled to throw for the Sky Sox in Thursday’s home game, was called up to Colorado. He took the road loss Thursday afternoon (five innings, two runs) in a 2-1 loss to the Mets.

The Sky Sox starter is to be announced later today. Friday’s scheduled starter, right-hander Armando Galarraga, may be moved up a day.

Corey Dickerson’s solo homer provided the only run for an anemic Rockies offense.

Jeff Francis was called up on Wednesday. Infielder Drew Garcia was activated by the Sky Sox off the temporary inactive list.
