The two left lanes of southbound Interstate 25 will be closed north of North Academy Boulevard late Thursday night.
They will be shut between 11 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday, according to a news release from the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The far left lane and the shoulder will be closed in that same area between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Friday.
The closures are necessary while crews work in the median to build caissons for sign bridges.
Work is expected to resume on the third southbound lane from Monument to North Gate Boulevard when warmer temperatures return next month.
