Good weather means more road work and the Colorado Department of Transportation says that road construction crews will be out during this warm, dry spell.

Through Thursday of next week, temperatures are expected to be in the high 40s and 50s with no expectation of precipitation.

That means drivers are likely to encounter single- or double-lane closings on both northbound and southbound I-25 for guardrail installation and and highway maintenance between Woodmen Road and State Highway 105 in Monument as part of the ongoing I-25 Expansion Project.

Those single-lane closures will take place between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. for light, guardrail and sign installation, CDOT says in a news release.
