Heavy rain and flooding caused three of the four boys’ golf regionals to be postponed.
The only tournament to be completed and send golfers on to state, was Monday’s Western Regional. Read about that here.
The other tournaments were all pushed back to later this week.
The Central regional moved from Monday to Thursday; the Northern goes from Tuesday to Wednesday; and the Southern was rescheduled from Monday to Friday.
Pine Creek will play in the Central tournament at Murphy Creek; Colorado Springs Metro League winner Rampart (the only league winner in the state that didn’t get to host its own regional) will play in the Northern tournament 81 miles north at Broadlands Golf Course in Broomfield and will be joined by Liberty; Palmer will play in the Southern tournament at Colorado Springs Country Club.
The 3A Southern Regional, which includes all Pikes Peak region 3A teams, is still scheduled to tee off at Hollydot Golf Course on Tuesday.
