Green Man Taproom, great for those who hate Mondays but love mystery

It’s Monday and well, Monday’s stink.

Over at Green Man Taproom, owner Scott Simmons knows how you feel. It’s why he calls the time slot of 3:30 to 5 p.m. ‘Grumpy Hour.’ It’s when you can pull up a barstool in what once was a church and sip on some “mystery beer.” He won’t tell you what it is until the keg is fully gone.

“It’s a good beer,” he said. “We are not going to surprise you with PBR.”

Past mystery beers include Avery Brewing Company’s IPA.

So, if you hate Mondays and love a little mystery, you know where to go, 320 S. Weber St. $1.99 for an imperial pint – 19 ounces (that is 3 ounces more than an American pint).
