craftweek-greyColorado Springs Craft Week – a celebration of the area’s signature eats and drinks – kicks off 4 p.m. today with tap takeovers at Brewer’s Republic and the Wild Goose Meeting House.

Through Craft Week (or ’til supplies run out), taps at Brewer’s Republic, 112 N. Nevada Ave., and the Wild Goose, 410 N. Tejon, will be devoted to brews from Colorado Springs and the nearby Front Range area.

Craft Week is about more than introducing neophytes to the region’s stellar beer offerings or giving established fans another reason to indulge. The idea of Craft Week is to expose people to local businesses that sell the kinds of craft products gaining popularity on a national scale, from wine to coffee to chocolate and regional eats.
