A Brighton man went to the restroom shortly before 4 a.m. one a recent morning and heard a strange sound outside.

George Ray went outside and found a drone crashed in his backyard. The drone had a GoPro camera and the name and phone number of the owner, according to CBS Denver. Ray called the sheriff’s office.

“What dummy would be flying around a drone at 3:30, 3:45 in the morning,” Ray told the TV news station.

Drones have been in the news lately and it doesn’t look like it will stop.

What would you do if you saw a drone above your property? Would you call the cops? Shoot it? Throw something at it? Go back to sleep?

One Colorado town tried to pass a law to allow residents to shoot any drone down.

For Ray’s trespassing Drone, the sheriff’s office called the owner and it was returned. The report didn’t say why the ‘dummy’ was cruising the drone around so late at night/early in the morning.
