The top three cities in the U.S. known for being most generous when it comes to tipping food-delivery workers are in Colorado.
Denver, Boulder and Fort Collins lead the nation as the most generous, according to a recent CNBC story.
CNBC looked at GrubHub’s data from March 28, 2013 to March 27. The data includes tips on credit cards, PayPal, but doesn’t include cash tips.
Colorado is third overall among big tipping states, with 15.7 percent. Thirty-five states’ tips averaged in the 14-percent range, according to the article.
The story didn’t mention Colorado Springs or give an explanation why Coloradans like to tip well. Good food, perhaps.
Why do you think Coloradans tend to tip so well?
