The map of the United States shows , by county, shows where children of lower-income homes make more money than their parents.
Colorado appears to be somewhere in the middle. The Midwest leads the charge where children’s income is far higher than their parents. The map highlights each county across the country.
Here’s a note on El Paso County, according to the map: “children whose parents were in the 25th percentile of the national income distribution are expected to rank 41st, a difference of 16 points.”
