Lilo is doing alright.

In May, the Shih Tzu-mid  pup and her siblings were found in Highlands Ranch’s Heritage Regional Park, according to the Castle Rock News-Press. Five pups, including Lilo, were found in the trashcan, which included pup that died before being found.

The found pups spent several weeks in foster care before becoming adoption-ready. The puppies were between 3 and 7 days old when found.

Today the 8-month-old Lilo is thriving in the home of her Castle Rock owners.
