Sand Creek High School Marching Band members took a trip before the school year ended.

Students from the school in Falcon School District 49 stars of their own Disney show on April 27 when they entertained visitors at Disneyland Resort.

The band marched from “It’s A Small World” ride, through the park and eventually down Main Street USA to finish at the train depot.

One special moment was when Minnie Mouse came out into the back lots as the kids were getting ready for the parade.

“You should have seen the looks on the faces of our kids and how excited they were to see Minnie,” said Ray Bell, Sand Creek High School instrumental music director. “Their jaws dropped when she appeared and there were high fives and giggles all around.”
