When Jason Yester left Bristol Brewing Co. to launch his own brewery in a strip mall on Garden of the Gods Road, he proved a couple things: that a brewery could survive far from downtown and that a brewery could thrive in Colorado Springs serving a constantly rotating menu of largely experimental beers. It’s hard to believe it’s been five years. On Saturday, you’ll be able to buy every beer Trinity makes throughout the year at the brewery’s fifth anniversary. The party runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with live music. Details: 634-0029, trinitybrew.com.
It’s Cinco de Mayo weekend at Jose Muldoon’s, 222 N. Tejon St. and 5710 S. Carefree Circle. Time for frosty glasses of Margaritas. And why not? You can have your fill of house Margaritas for $3 a pop all day Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy live mariachi music and a magician doing – well, magic. Call 636-2311 (downtown) and 574-5673 (Carefree location). Visit josemuldoons.com.
