StarTek to host job fair to expand Springs call center

Denver-based call center operator StarTek Inc. is hosting a jobs fair through Friday at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. The company wants to hire about 100 customer service representatives to expand its health division operation in Colorado Springs as it moves to a larger quarters.

The fair is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 24-28 at the center, 1675 Garden of the Gods Road. Workers will  handle enrollment, after-hours care, admissions and preauthorization for medical services, remote patient monitoring, sales, technical support and management of incoming orders. StarTek came to Colorado Springs in July by acquiring RNs on Call, a local service that uses nurses to take after-hours calls for about 1,000 physician offices, medical clinics and other medical offices.
