UdallBacksBennet-gpi-_RoedColorado’s U.S. Sen. Mark Udall wants veterans to use a new consumer protection website aimed at catching education programs that scam veterans.

“The website, launched last week, will help federal agencies identify and confront unfair, deceptive, and misleading practices at institutions of higher education serving veterans,” Udall’s office said in a news release.

The government has long warned of schools that take GI Bill benefits, but don’t provide adequate education.
The site, http://1.usa.gov/1n1iAR6 is the product of several federal agencies including VA, the Pentagon and the Department of Education.

“Once a complaint is received, agencies will work with the school and student to find a solution to their problem,” Udall’s office said.
