aflogoAn airman assigned to the Air Force Academy’s 10th Security Forces Squadron will face court martial Monday for allegedly sexually assaulting a female airman.

Airman 1st Class Justin Burback had sex with a female airman who was incapable of consenting because she was intoxicated, a fact which Burback knew or should have known, the military alleges in the airman’s charge sheet.

The court marital is slated to continue through Friday, according to the Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps website.

If convicted, Burback faces a maximum punishment of 30 years in prison, a dishonorable discharge and total forfeiture of pay and allowances, an academy spokesman said Friday.
