The El Paso County Department of Human Services’ office in Fountain will move to a new location in June.

The department’s Fountain office plans to move June 9 into Peak Vista Community Health Centers’ new building at 350 Lyckman Drive, the county announced Monday. The satellite location is currently housed in the Lorraine Center, 301 E. Iowa Ave., where the the department serves about 860 clients a month.

The department’s Fountain office will be closed from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 9 to complete the move.

Peak Vista also is moving from the Lorraine Center in a bid to expand its services in the Fountain area — a move that should be completed later this spring, according to a Peak Vista spokesman.
