The program helps develop young leaders. Participants visited city departments four times during the school year, met city employees and learned about city careers. They also networked with city leaders.

The following schools participated:

  •   Fox Meadow Middle School (in D-2) – 10 students
  •   Carmel Middle School (in D-2) – 10 students
  •   Galileo Middle School of Math and Science – 8 students
  •   Scholars to Leaders Academy (Colorado State Institute of Charter Schools) – 10 students
