Colorado Springs School District 11’s information technology staff has been working feverishly since Saturday to figure out why some of its computers are having problems.
“It’s hit and miss. It’s not affecting all computers,” said Devra Ashby, spokeswoman.
For those whose work stations are being impacting, some personal settings are not showing up, and some files are not able to be retrieved, she said.
But the snafu isn’t believed to be impacting students, Ashby said.
“We’re working hard to correct it,” she said. “We’re still trying to get a grasp on how many employees are impacted and in what ways. But we know it’s not everybody. It’s a little bump in the system.”
