AdenPhoto2The parents of a young Falcon-area boy who needs a bone marrow transplant to survive leukemia continue to look for a potential donor. Two additional donor drives will be held this week.

Bonfils Blood Center of Denver will conduct screenings from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Colorado College’s Worner Hall Lounge, 14 E. Cache la Poudre St. Would-be donors must be between ages 18 and 44.

First diagnosed with cancer at age 4, Aden Knar was successfully treated until November. After intensive chemotherapy, Aden’s only hope now is a bone marrow transplant. But there are no matches on the worldwide registry.

For more information on the process, call Bonfils at 303-363-2345.
