Contest for kids who can write cursive

Can your kid or student write?

Cursive  that is. No keyboarding, please.

If so, you might want to enter him or her in the National Handwriting Contest.

Any student grades 1 through 6 can compete. Contest  runs from Feb. 1 to march 31.

They have to write a an essay on one of these subjects: Why cursive is cool; What do you think is fun ti do that involves cursive; or if you get an autograph from someone, who wold it be and why. The essay should be at least five sentences long and no more than a page.

Winners receive awards from Fahreny’s Pens.
