Coquette’s Bistro and Bakery is scheduled to open April 1, according to an e-mail sent to the Gazette by co-owner Michelle Marx.

The restaurant will be located inside the former Curry Leaf space at 321 N. Tejon St. in downtown Colorado Springs.

Marx and co-owner Turu Eurich opened their first restaurant in Manitou Springs in August 2009, as Coquette Creperie. The women later renamed their restaurant Coquette’s Bistro and Bakery when they expanded their menu.

The eatery is known for its gluten-free baked goods.
