What was once the Leech Pit is now undergoing renovations to become a Colorado College Student Activities Center.
The building at 802 N. Nevada Ave. will be used for several student functions when completed, including senior art project shows, said Leslie Weddell, college news director.
“Other intended uses? Possibilities abound and it is up to the students to discover and develop potential uses such as art shows, live music, performances, gatherings, readings, etc..” wrote Weddell in an e-mail to the Gazette. “It’s a student place and we are trying to not define and label its uses.”
Renovations are expected to be completed by mid-November.
