Air Force’s Calhoun voices confidence in Charlton Warren, his embattled defensive coordinator

This has been a brutal month for Air Force defensive coordinator Charlton Warren. His defense has surrendered 150 points in the last three games, including 42 in the first half against Wyoming Saturday night at Falcon Stadium.

I asked Troy Calhoun at his weekly press conference if he retains confidence in Warren.

“Very much so,” Calhoun said.

Warren has been on the Air Force coaching staff nine seasons. This is his second season as defensive coordinator. He’s a 1999 Air Force graduate.
