Friday’s lines: CC at No. 10 North Dakota

Thorimbert vs UND road unisColorado College’s Wednesday departure helped smooth out any travel wrinkles en route to Grand Forks, N.D. where the team put together a short but high-energy morning skate Friday at Ralph Engelstad Arena.

That skate hinted at some considerable line changes which were confirmed later Saturday.

For what it’s worth, I like the pairing of playmakers like Alexander Krushelnyski and center Cody Bradley with Luc Gerdes on one line. Scott Wamsganz gives the Tigers a big body along the boards to work with center Sam Rothstein and right wing Alex Roos.

The line with seniors Archie Skalbeck and Jeff Collett and junior Charlie Taft is a defensively sound veteran line that can contribute offensively. Sophomore Hunter Fejes and freshmen Christian Heil and Zach Aman is another defensive group.
