bigger NCHC logoThe poor nonconference record is the main disappointment so far out of the NCHC’s inaugural season.

Minnesota maintained its slim lead over Boston College for No. 1 in the weekly USCHO poll. North Dakota, CC’s road foe this playoff weekend, is No. 10 while regular-season champ St. Cloud State remains at No. 4 but picked up a first-place vote. Third-place Nebraska-Omaha picked up a few votes while fourth-place Minnesota-Duluth is No. 20.

Tigers Jaccob Slavin and Archie Skalbeck were both nominees for the NCHC players of the week.

No CC goals made the top 16 and the year-end video tournament for the league.
