Gothberg UNDNorth Dakota has clinched home ice in the league quarterfinals for the 12th season in a row, according to Grand Forks Herald.

Colorado College, once resigned to seventh place, has a chance, at least mathematically,¬† to overtake¬† Minnesota-Duluth (8-10-2-2 NCHC), 0-4 since the Bulldogs took five of six home points against the Tigers (6-9-5-1 NCHC), or Denver for sixth place by season’s end. CC has 24 points to 28 for Duluth. Fifth-place Denver has 29.

Minnesota-Duluth and Western Michigan are both on the outside looking in for an at-large NCAA Tournament berth according to the latest Pairwise rankings.

Here are this week’s USCHO rankings with St. Cloud State No. 5, North Dakota 10th and Denver at No. 20. The USA Hockey poll below mimics its counterpart:
