FejesColorado College is focused on attacking the net during the second half and will need to against No. 7 Providence this weekend.

The USCHO columnists think Providence will sweep the Tigers while the other thinks a split is more likely. Here are their entire league picks. PC goalie Jon Gillies is a possible contender for the Hobey Baker Top 10, USCHO opines.

Minnesota-Duluth is playing well but takes on No. 16 Denver, which is on a bit of a roll of late. Both lead off this week’s USCHO column on the NCHC.

No. 3 St. Cloud State gets its first regular-season game on CBS Sports Network on Friday night (5:07 p.m. MT start).

Bemidji State is excited to get a shot at North Dakota. Nebraska-Omaha travels to last-place Miami, which has a couple critical injuries.

Here is an article detailing how the NCHC works on training its referees. USCHO also has an Atlantic Hockey picks column.
