No. 2 St. Cloud State won its ninth-straight road game, a Division I-era program record, by scoring three goals in the third period at No. 17 Denver Friday night.  Here is the Denver Post’s coverage.

Two shorthanded goals in the third period, including one with eight seconds left, helped Western Michigan knock off No. 13 Miami, which dropped the preseason favorite into last place behind Colorado College.

Minnesota-Duluth elevated its defensive efforts to record a 3-2 road win over Nebraska-Omaha.
