Catching up with some Tigers overseas

Forward David Civitarese was sent down from Italy’s Bolzano (two assists, 13 games) of the Austrian 1 league  to Kitzbuhel of the Austrian 3 league where he has 13 points (eight goals) in five games.

Center Nick Dineen is in Lillehammer, Norway where he has 19 points (16 assists) in 23 games.  Blue-liner Gabe Guentzel has six points (three goals) in nine games for Ritten/Renon of the top Italian league.

Wing Tyler Johnson  has 12 points (seven goals0 in 13 games for Sweden’s Vasterviks. Also in Sweden is forward Bill Sweatt, who has eight points (five assists) in 25 games for Brynas.

SONY DSCForward Jimmy Kilpatrick is playing well for the Neumarkt/Egna team in the Austrian No. 2 league with 20 points (13 assists) in 15 games.

Defenseman Brian Salcido has three assists in 19 games for Amur Khabarovsk (Siberia) of the Kontinental Hockey League.

Forward Stephen Schultz has 23 points (15 assists) in 23 games for Kaufbeuren of the German second league.

Center Mike Testwuide has 22 points (11 goals) in 22 games for Anyang Halla (Seoul, S. Korea) of the Asian League.

Goalie Matt Zaba has a .915 saves percentage (third in the league) and a 2.41 goals against mark for the 16-10-3-0 Vienna Capitals of the top Austrian league.
