KRDO TV announced this week that the Tigers’ game at North Dakota on Saturday, Jan. 11, will air live from Grand Forks on KRDO-TV 13, starting at 6 pm MT. I reported this last week.
“We are very excited to partner with KRDO ABC TV to carry this outstanding contest between Colorado College and North Dakota,” said Scott Lowenberg, associate director of athletics. “KRDO NewsRadio is the home for all CC Tiger hockey games on the radio and for KRDO ABC TV to step up and carry this game on January 11th is an outstanding addition to our already outstanding partnership.”
The Jan. 11 outing marks the night of a two-game National Collegiate Hockey Conference series against the Sioux that weekend at Engelstad Arena, as the teams also meet for the first time as members of the NCHC in their nationally televised (CBS Sports Network) series opener on Friday, Jan. 10.
“KRDO Newschannel 13 is thrilled,” said Tim Larson, general manager for KRDO TV and radio, “to bring Colorado College hockey into the homes of Tigers fans while the team is on the road at North Dakota.”
