scsu imageUSCHO released its list of theTop 10 goalies to watch this season.

Colorado College will face three of them — John Gillies of Providence; Miami’s Ryan McKay and Wisconsin’s Joel Rumpel. USCHO will launch a two-hour season preview podcast at 6 p.m. MT.

St. Cloud State is launching a 24-hour sports channel for Charter Cable available in Minnesota and both Dakotas. 

The WCHA will have live streaming of all its games.

Minnesota State  forward Zach Lehrke  announced he will not play his senior season with the Mavericks due to a medical condition, detailed here.

“This is a difficult decision, but due to a medical condition that I have been battling for some time, it has become apparent to me that I will not be able to compete for Minnesota State my senior season,” said Lehrke. “I’ve had a great experience here in Mankato and would like to thank the Maverick men’s hockey coaching staff, the athletic training and medical staffs in working with me on this issue in my three years with the program and wish my teammates all the best with the 2013-14 season.

Lehrke, a native of Park Rapids, Minn., recorded 23 goals and 31 assists for 54 points in 104 games with Minnesota State the last three seasons.
