PHX_Larraza_Draft_1_2011Denver junior Zac Larraza suffered a broken clavicle on Tuesday and will be out six to eight weeks, Pioneers coach Jim Montgomery told the Denver Post.

With the injury to Larraza (12 goals last season), Denver is down to 12 available forwards. Freshman Brad Hawkinson injured his shoulder last week. Rookie Emil Romig will serve anĀ  eight-game NCAA suspension to begin the season for playing in a European professional league.

An earlier Denver Post report suggested Hawkinson may miss the entire season.
