hockeyColorado College senior Alexander Krushelnyski is named as one of the five National Collegiate Hockey Conference players most likely to contend for a Hobey Baker Memorial Award this season by the Western College Hockey Blog.

Ryan Walters of Nebraska-Omaha and Miami’s Austin Czarnik are two returning Hobey Top 10 finalists.

The Big 10 adopted shootouts this past May and naturally the conference will use the same points system as the NCHC, according to the Grand Forks Herald: three for a regulation or overtime wins; two for a shootout win, one for a shootout loss and none for a loss in overtime or regulation.
