A number of current players were skating this past week at Honnen Ice Arena along with former Tigers Jaden Schwartz and Arthur Bidwill.

Canisius coach Dave Smith announced on Friday that senior Ryan Bohrer (West St. Paul, Minn.) is set to serve as captain of the Golden Griffins this season.

Bohrer has appeared in 97 career games with the Griffs. He has posted 27 points, 11 goals and 16 assists during his career, totaling a personal-best 12 points during the 2010-11 campaign.

According to Jasper Kozak of OTB, Colt Conrad has verbally committed to play at Western Michigan.

An incoming Minnesota freshman was suspended for violating team rules.
