bigger NCHC logoDenver forward commit Connor Chatham signed with the Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League, forgoing his commitment to d the Pioneers.

The Belleville, Ill. native played for the Omaha Lancers in the USHL this past season and the U.S. National Development team in 2011-12.

The new NCHC web site will be launched Aug. 1, not July 15 to avoid any technical problems.

The top-drafted college player (No. 25), Western Michigan commit Michael McCarron has not decided yet on whether to go to the OHL or the Broncos, despite media reports out of Canada. He signed with Montreal Thursday morning.
