In the pros: Dimmen heads to Asian League

dimmen action adirondackFormer Adirondack Phantoms defenseman Jeff Dimmen of Colorado Springs signed a multi-year contract to play in the Asian League, according to a tweet from his agency, 37 Hockey, LLC. The agency said the team is to be announced.

Dimmen was a healthy scratch through much of last season. He followed his Calder Cup-winning season with Norfolk with only 34 games with Adirondack. Dimmen scored four goals and added 10 assists for 14 points  with the Phantoms.

Former Tiger Alex Kim spent a couple years in that league before moving on to Europe.
