Former Tiger Nick Dineen scored five goals, including four with a 5-on-3 advantage, in a 10-1 win over TuTo on Tuesday night to clinch his team’s Finnish league semifinal playoff series, 3 games to 1.

Dineen scored three goals in five minutes during the second period to blow open a 2-1 game. He added two in a row in 1:27 midway through the third.

Dineen has recorded 10 points (seven goals) in eight playoff games to pace KooKoo to its first Mestis League final since 2002. KooKoo takes on regular-season champ Jukurit later this week.
