Published: October 20, 2008, 1:33 pm, by admin

As expected with CC’s win over Michigan Tech and Boston College’s loss to Northeastern on Saturday, the Tigers are the nation’s new No. 1 team. CC, which hasn’t been ranked No. 1 since November 2005, earned 31 of 34 first-place votes and 504 points in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll. Rival Denver, which swept Wisconsin, is nipping at the Tigers’ heels as the new No. 2.

  1. Are there jinxes associated with these polls.

Way too early for a poll IMO

  3. Kate – tell the boys to ignore this and remember what happened at the regional last year. I would like to see post season success rather than early season rankings.
