The Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region is on the hunt for a new executive director.
Christina McGrath is moving to Oxford, England in mid-January to be with her fiancee. She started at COPPeR in January 2011, and has learned quite a bit in the nearly three years on the job.
“At first, I was overwhelmed,” she said. “It’s easy to feel like you’re doing it alone. But in three years you realize you have support from the whole community, and you only need to ask. That is something our whole community could take a lesson from. We need to help each other out and feel comfortable asking for help when we need it.”
COPPeR is accepting applications now through Oct. 23; coppercolo.org/2013/10/executive-director-transition.
