Air Force football will play night game at Wyoming in September

For the second straight year, Air Force’s matchup against Wyoming will end at or near midnight.

The Sat., Sept. 6 game at Laramie, Wyo., has been picked up by ESPNU and will kick off at 8:15 p.m.

Six of Air Force’s 12 games now have television rights assigned. None so far qualify Air Force for conference television bonus money. Even if the game at Wyoming or the game at Utah State, which is set to be shown on an ESPN network, were to be moved to ESPN or ESPN2, as the road team the Falcons would not receive a television bonus.

Air Force hosted Wyoming this past year on Sept. 13, with the game beginning at 8:26 p.m and ending four minutes before midnight.
