Air Force coach Troy Calhoun has called his upcoming home schedule the best he’s ever seen from a service academy. Apparently the fan base agrees with him, as the academy announced Wednesday that ticket sales have been on a record pace.
Here’s the full press release:
Air Force football ticket sales remain on record pace for the 2013 season
Air Force season tickets remain on sale and are on a record pace as the Falcons prepare to open the 2013 season against Colgate on Saturday, Aug. 31. Currently all upper reserved and general admission seating is sold out with several sections having just limited availability.
“We appreciate the support our cadets receive through the purchase of season tickets and encourage everyone to get involved with the pride and pageantry of Air Force football,” head football coach Troy Calhoun said. “Our August practices have gone well and we look forward to kicking off the season against Colgate and showing off all the hard work our cadets have put in.”
Season tickets are still available and are the best way to guarantee your seat for all seven home games including Notre Dame, Army and Wyoming. Tickets are available by calling the athletic ticket office at 719-472-1895 or by visiting the Air Force website at goairforcefalcons.com.
