Cameron Michael, who left the Air Force basketball team this summer, Tweeted on Sunday afternoon that he is headed to Northern Colorado for his sophomore season.
Michael put this on the social media site:
“After a lot of thought, prayer and discussion with my family and friends I have decided that I will transfer to UNC.
Michael would have led all returning Air Force players with a 4.1 ppg average but opted to leave this summer. Coaches said it was the military commitment that led the Loveland native to rethink his college path.
