At the Mt. SAC/California Combined Events and Mt. SAC Relays this week, Air Force has had some standout individual performances.

On Thursday, Lesly Torres earned the second highest score in the heptathlon in Air Force history, including setting an academy record in the heptathlon high jump on Wednesday. Also on Thursday, Jim Walmsley was the top American finisher in the elite division of the 10,000-meter run with a career best 29:08.88. That was the third-best time in Air Force history. Also, Jen Bremser finished the 3000-meter steeplechase in 10:55.36, the third best mark in Air Force history.

The Mt. SAC Relays continue Friday and Saturday, as Air Force continues to gear up to host the Mountain West outdoor championships from May 9-12.
