According to the Star-Telegram’s blog, TCU guard Ronnie Moss, who leads the Horned Frogs with 15.7 points per game, has been suspended indefinitely and is unlikely to play for TCU again.
Without Moss, the Horned Frogs – who are 1-6 in the Mountain West – lost by 25 to New Mexico. Air Force is looking for its first conference road win since 2008, and this is a fantastic shot to snap that streak. The Falcons have lost 20 straight on the road, but kenpom.com projected Air Force to win by one point, and those statistical projections include Moss’ contributions for most of the season.
For an Air Force team looking to take a step into the Mountain West’s middle class, it won’t get many better chances for a road win.
