Funny things are going to happen over the next few weeks. Think the BCS wants Boise State or TCU in the title game? Not if they can help it. … Wyoming is trying to stay positive.
How is Navy happy to get the bye? All their games are scheduled independently from one another, it’s not like the conference made the schedule for them and we play the same weekend every year. If I was the Navy AD I would make that week my bye every year.
Dave, I would assume that Navy can’t just call the shots on who and when they’ll play. They need to put together a good schedule, and they don’t wield the power of a Notre Dame to say “We won’t play you on the week before Air Force, (fill in the blank good opponent), you need to work your schedule around us.” At least I would think that’s a likely reason.
