Air Force notched its first victory of the 2010 season on Saturday, beating service academy rival Navy, 12-4.

The win avenged a 17-5 loss to Navy on Friday and set up a Sunday rubber match.

The Falcons (1-5) scored two runs in the sixth to break a 3-3 tie and then scored seven runs in the seventh to pull away.

Air Force’s offense exploded for a season-high 17 hits, and freshman Sean Carley picked up his first career win for the Falcons, yielding three runs and striking out seven in seven innings.
